nokia 3220 unlocks

    i recently bought a nokia 3220, and belive it to be locked to cingular. i however have centennial service...... the imei# is 353780001966092...... any help will be greatly appreciated

    I ran a check on your IMEI and it's locked to Optus in Australia.

    would like to thank you for your time and assistance. spoke to the person i purchased the phone from, they say it is already unlocked, just needs to be activated.how might i check to see if the phone is in fact unlocked?

    By inserting an activated sim in and see if it accepts it. If the phone is unlocked, it will continue to read "code error" with every code you put in. If you see "phone restricted" with a different sim, it's locked.
