Nokia 5300 - Microphone install or replace?

    I put a new case on my 5300 and realized that the mic was not working, I noticed that there was a little round plug in the old one, which turned out to be the mic. I moved it to the new one but it does not work. Looking around I found that there is a specific way to put it back in correctly, but no pointers as to how. Any help appreciated greatly.

    the gold pins on the mike should be touching the phone let me know how you get....

    I've tried a bunch of combinations and none seem to work. do you mean the two springs should be facing out towards the mouth when talking or in, making contact with the phones innards? I have read about alignment being key but for the life of me I can find nothing that even hints how it should be lined up. Thanks for your help and any you can offer.
