Nokia 5300 Xpress Music Cannot be Unlocked

hey i didnt want to make a new thread so i was wondering if anyone has gotten their phones unlocked by t-mobile then? could i just take it to their store? Would they still unlock it for me even though i did not buy it from them

I will be going to the philippines and want to be able to use this phone their. I bought this phone off of craigslist would tmobile still unlock the phone for me? Also how much does it cost to unlock phones from t mobile

 

T-Mobile will unlock your phone only if you have a phone number (sim) with them. It's free for their customers and they will unlock it for you if you call Customer Service and tell them that you want to be able to use your phone outside of country.

It doesn't matter. As long as you have a contract or prepaid sim with them, they will help you. It worked for me.

I have this Nokia 5300 phone from T-mobile and have been trying to unlock it for some time and never succeeded. I have AT&T now and my sim from them won't work is there a way to unlock it. My imei is 354823010964325

I went Nokiafree.org but the phone wasn't listed and the other codes didn't work and I didn't want to enter the wrong code to many times.

Please help.

 

the thing is dat as long as the nokia 5300 is from uk, i can unlock them, but mine itself is from rogers, canada, so i cant unlock it, but yeah try these codes:

The codes you have provided have failed.... any other idea as I think we get only three or five chances to unlock and then phone gets permanantly locked

 

Your phone is now hardlocked - all BB5 models only allow 3 attempts.

The only way to unlock a Nokia 5300 is by the network provider

No, they are to be entered one at a time, if one doesnt work, enter the other one....
and u do kno how to get the code in right? like hit the pound key twice or 3 times to get the w or p

 

Your codes do not work. As I said before all BB5 models only allow 3 attempts till they hardlock so stop providing codes for phones you clearly can not do.

If this continues I will report you to a mod....You've been warned.

EDIT: Every IMEI has its own unique code so why give the same codes to other members ?
