My problem is that there is no response to the code alone. When I try using a SIM from a different provider I just get no coverage. There is no "restricted" message. Any ideas on what to do now?
Yes, the person that gave you the code said to try the code with a different sim but you'll probably need to enter the code with no sim in. Enter from the "Insert Sim" screen and make sure the code has been entered in full. If that doesn't work, I don't know what the problem is.
