When I replaced the Digicel sim card that came with my phone with another sim card from Cable and Wireless it finds the network but will blank out and when I press the buttons the screen lights up, if I put back in the sim card that the phone comes with it works fine. Does this mean I have to unlock the phone for the Cable and Wireless sim card (even tho it found the network and I placed a call) for it to work properly?

Your code:Try this ONCE and ONCE only. Remember,
you only get 3 to 5 tries. If you enter the same code two times, that is two tries.

    #pw+304416525226527+7#

    To enter code:
    Make sure battery is charged.
Put in a SIM from a new Network.
    Power on.
Select UNDO with NEW SIM in phone.
    Press the # key.
then press the "star" key (*) quickly to get the P and W and +
    Press * 3 times quickly for (p) \
Press * 4 times quickly for (w) IMPORTANT
    Press * 2 times quickly for (+) /
and the rest of the code---
Begin with # and end with #.
    Select OK

    IMPORTANT!!
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only have about two seconds.

    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code. STOP tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked.
Used up all your free tries!!

If it does not work, tell me: What happened? What message
you got. What codes you tried.
    Above all, answer.

When I put in this sim card, no UNDO comes up, should i just proceed to put in the codes?

    Very strange,
Did you put in a Cable and Wireless SIM?
You need a non Digicel SIM.
If you do not have a non Digicel sim,
    Try this.
    Remove the SIM.
Tutn on the phone and ignore any message.
Enter the code and select OK or enter.
Hold for several seconds until you get a new message and tell me what happens.

Yeah my other sim from the old phone is a Cable and Wireless simcard. It finds the network with the new phone but the phone will blank out after a few seconds with any Cable and Wireless simcard I tried to put in it, it doesn't bring up any error message, like network not found or anything, it just blanks out.

I'll leave the sim out and try the code then.

You can't be using codes from more than one source.
That does not allow either unlocker to try a new setting.
It looks like you may have tried at least three codes now.

If your phone is not already hardlocked, you can try this.

Well, one of these codes should do the trick.
The problem is you do not have enough tries left.
Another wrong code will surely hardlock the phone.
It will still work with Digicel but you will need a direct unlock with special hardware after that.
Before you try, it will be useful to let me know what codes you have tried and the message you got.
Also what method you used to enter each code.
Ihe problem is that Digicel has used unconventional Network settings in the Caribbean and have changed these in some places.
We have to try to find the settings for each phone.

    #pw+304416525226527+7#

#pw+327196147513207+7# (from site on your banner) Didn't know I couldnt from there and here too.

    #pw+848451260656460+7#

Each time I got code error, I tried them with the simcard out, because when I left the C&W sim card in I wouldn't get any messages, it would find the network but the phone would blank out.

After the phone powered on without the sim card, it'd say Insert Sim Card and I would just enter the codes.

Well that's three tries if you only entered each one once.
There's no problem with using codes from another site but it's better to chose one or the other so that we can work through the possibilities.

This phone may only have three tries but there's no harm in trying again.
Try the codes I gave you.

    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code. STOP tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked.

I have been looking at what you said.
If you are able to make calls with a bMobile SIM it must be unlocked and there may be a different problem.

When this model is locked and you turn it on with a different SIM, it should say Phone restricted and show an UNDO option. Selecting UNDO will bring up a box and you enter the code.
Your phone did not do that.

That's why in my first post I asked if I still needed to unlock the phone because it was blanking with the Cable and Wireless sim even when it found the network and I was able to make one call, and you said Yes.
I thought it was my C&W sim card so I tried another Cable and Wireless sim and it did the same thing.

It works fine with Digicel, just whenever I insert a Cable and Wireless simcard, it would see the network after about 30 seconds but the phone will blank out. I've tried other Cable and Wireless sim cards with the same result. I don't know what the problem is, since it sees the network with the Cable and Wireless sim inserted, why it blanks out is what I don't understand.
