Nokia 6233 question

    I'd like to get the Nokia 6233, but i'm wondering what networks will work with the phone. I'm currently with T-mobile, but after moving to WI and realizing they have no presence here i'm going to change provider when my contract is up in a month.

    The Nokia 6233 operates on GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 and WCDMA 2100. Does that mean it will work with both GSM and CDMA carriers? Will it work on Cingular being as it doesn't operate on the 850mhz band?

    Anyone any idea what networks I can use this phone on?

    WCDMA only works on GSM networks, it will not work on CDMA

    I see. What is WCDMA? Is it the data transfer technology? As in GPRS or EDGE?
