Nokia 6288 wont update to new software

    Trying to use the nokia updater suite to upgrade the software version,
    and it tells me the the phone is not supported

    (I know this phone is a piece of junk,but i am trying to solve the persistent problem with these phones,of them randomly shutting down)

    old software version is 05.94

    any ideas how i can get round this?,or is it a no-goer?

    I'm having the same problems
    Just wondering if there is some pc utility I can get to update the software on the phone or not.. other than restarting all the time the phones great :\ heh.
