    I have done a strange but effective thing with my 6300 and to my surprise, it became unlocked.
    May be u should try it out.

    Charge ur set fully and take out battery. Connect to the PC via usb cable and install the modem driver in such a way to set COM port 7. Now put the following code in the set quickly.
    *#7328748263373738#

    Your phone will be unlocked now... Enjoy!
