hi guys,just bought a nokia d box 2 from e bay its driving me mad trying to tune in the channels.i have tried changing the settings in the cable provider section(bruteforce and cable6952) with the fast scan off,however still will not pick any channels up,any suggestions would be great,by the way i am a novice with these nokia box`s so try not to baffle me..
Hi, i,ve got a dbox2 with neutrino which did have the sportster 1.7 image on it until i flashed it with Sportster-Pro_1.10_RC010_20071215_1550_2xI.img All went well until it restarted in german and asked me to pick between nokia, sagem, and something else on the dbox LED screen. I pressed the wrong button and it went to sagem. It then loaded up german channels(no picture or sound) Tried to re flash with the old image but flashxpf would not to collect to the box. I did manage to change the text language to english rather than german but cant fix it from the remote. No idea what to do next. Any help appreciated cheers, Cow.
Hi Paul thanks for getting back to me i did try to flash it again with flashfxp but it would not connect to the box. However will try this again tomo and let you know. Is it possible that it won't connect because i told the nokia box it was a sagem box (on the LED of the box) while it was in German by mistake. Cheers Cow
Yippe i did it. To fix it i took note of the ip, netmask,broadcast,def gateway and name server numbers which had changed. Then when on the internet protocol options put in the new numbers with the same username and password (root and dbox2). making sure to take 1 nuber off the ip address. When i pressed ok it said something like this... combination is wrong enter valid combination So i changed the ip to as it was without taking the 1 away. Hey presto connected Flashed the new image to it and did a scan = channels back. Thanks for getting involved Paul. PS can anyone get a stable newer sportster image than 1.75 Thanks again Cow
