Nokia Dbox 1

Hello, a friend of mine purchased a nokia dbox of ebay recently. The muppet only picked a dbox1 in dbug mode. Unlike the dbox 2 it does not have a ethernet port but does have a R32 port. I have never flashed a dbox 1 before. Could someone point me in the right direction? Can i use the same images etc?

Thanks for the quick reply mate, i will convert my 2x image with the key update to a 1x image. Can i flash it using just the R32 cable using image assistant?

 

I haven't flashed dbox1 before but it should work. give it a try.

 

I think there may be a misunderstanding here, a Dbox1 is of no use and is not the same as a 1x (1 chip) Dbox2.

You cannot flash these images onto a dbox1 and get it to work.

There is a dbox1 software. Its called dvb2000 but without emu.
You have to use an amon conditional access modul and a funcard.
