I have spent the last 2 nights, trying to follow the instructions i have found in this forum, for re-keying a Dbox2, but i am really struggling. I have never done this before, and my wife had a go at it first, and deleted some lines from the keylist, but all the 'free' Virgin channels were still on, until now. I had tried changing the keys to the ones i thought was right, but it wasn't making any difference. I was told i needed to input the C&W keys, as this is for Virgin TV in my area, but that didn't work either. When i went into the key list there were about 6 lines of text/numbers, with a couple of empty lines seperating them. The first line was just a jumble of letters/numbers. Underneath that, there was a 5co1 _________ key, then another 5c01________ underneath that. Then a blank line under that. Then 2 lines with times/dates in them. Then another blank line. Then another jumble letters/numbers. I read in one thread, to delete all lines except the 2 with the 5c01_______. So i just did. The box took ages to reboot, and after about 5mins BBC1 flashed up for a few secs, went off, and now i have no pic/sound, not even the free channels. The only signs of life i am now getting from the box is the display, (BBC ONE), and the green flashing LED when i press the remote. Other than that, i get no picture, no menu, NOTHING. Please help as i am really struggling with this.

    Hi
Looks like you will have to start by reflashing the box, google for info on this, then google for the new nagrarom 7 and 10 files, when you have flashed the box, put thenagrarom files into the Var/keys folded to overwrite the old ones and DBox will AU without having to keep inputting keys. DBox 2 has a very steep learning curve so its no use asking me for any more info than this as its far too time consuming, google dbox forums if you get stuck.
