Hi, Just wondering if you can help me, I have just been given a Nokia Dbox 1 and it is currently it has the sportster image install but I can only search on Astra channels, which leads me to think that I is setup for satellite only?? Is the anyway that I can flash the box so that I can be used with cable TV? Thanks for you help!
A sportster image is not working at a dbox1. It looks like its a dbox2. Flash a uk modified image and try again.
Right, it is a nokia dbox 2, but I still thinks that it is for satellite only is there anyway of checking if it's a satellite box, or can you use the boxes for both cable and satellite? Sorry for asking basic questions. Thanks for your help!
If you read Antenne at the connector at the backside its for cable. If you read LNB and there is a F-socket its for satellite.
Thanks for your reply On the back of the box it says Antenne and it's a screw connection. So does that mean its a cable or satellite. The connection under this is blanked out Thanks Again!
