    rainbow28,
[bold]Please read ALL of the instructions below before you start.See the "Note:If nothing happens." below.[/bold]

Did you check with IMEI: *#06# ,Firmware Version: *#0000# .

    Nokia:1600
    IMEI:351866010919735
    Network:True Move
    Country:Thailand

    [bold]Is this correct?[/bold]

If you know the risks, try this [bold]ONCE and ONLY ONCE[/bold] and let us know if it works. You have only 3 to 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable thing-a-me-jiggy to unlock it. It will still work on your Network so no big loss.

    #pw+249565466602156+7#

Remove sim first, power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
    Press * 3 times fast for (p) \
Press * 4 times fast for (w) IMPORTANT
    Press * 2 times fast for (+) /
and the rest of the code---

    [bold]IMPORTANT!![/bold]
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only heve about two seconds.

[bold]Note:If nothing happens.[/bold] Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim, you will see "phone restricted", press UNDO option and enter the code in the restriction box and press ENTER.

    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code.[bold]STOP[/bold] tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked. Used up all your free tries!!

[bold]DO let us know if this works.[/bold]
Help us provide a better service.

    rainbow28,
If you got it from ACT Mobile it might work.
Canadian phones are on 850/1900 bands.
Most phones in Thailand are on 900/1800 bands.
I think ACT Mobile is on 1900 and G3.
    Let us know.

    rainbow28,
It will not work in Canada. It will work in Europe and all of your area.
    Try this once only.

[bold]Only use this code if JG's code does not work #pw+248145466602156+7# try it once and once only. If you have already tried 3 or more codes It will be your decision to use this code as I do not want to be responsible for hardlocking your mobile :)

    Good luck[/bold]

    rainbow28,
    That should make two tries.
    Try this once.

The Nokia 1600 will not work in Canada because the mobile does not support the Canadian network frequencies, which is 1900mhz as where the 1600 works on 900/1800mhz
