Hi guys, Quick question. I have just put a movie on my Nokia N95. I am viewing it through CorePlayer however the only thing is I can't hear it at all. I double checked this on my laptop and there was no sound there either and it turned out I needed to download the Dolby AC3 Codec to hear it. Just wondering is it possible to get this codec onto my Nokia N95?
There is a mobile version of Dolby but not sure if its freely available or even supported by the N950(as far as audio output quality,as opposed to software) http://www.samrathacks.com/search/label/Dolby http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AacPlus http://www.streamguys.com/formats/aacplus.html http://www.nokia-asia.com/A4429876 http://www.orban.com/plugin/ ...but it seems with the right plugin you can upgrade it in Mplayer-hope this is helpful,I'm thinking about getting a N-9508gb myself!
Hmmm...the source file needs to be converted I think and unfortunately I don't have access to that so back to square one. Not to worry. Would highly recommend the phone to anyone interested, just trying to get all the little parts of it working the way I want them to now!
