I have a lot of divx files on my computer which can only be played using divx player. I have downloaded divx player but i think my computer is too old/slow to properly run this program. Does anybody know a media player that will play divx files but will not slow my computer(and therefore the video quality) down so much?
You need this codec inorder to play this type of file, however, there are many media players available that will play the file once the codec is installed. VLC Media Player, for one, being my personal choice - very cut-down, easy to use media player.
