non-modded xbox code 12

    what is code 12? hard drive failure, motherboard failure, both? the box was working beautifully then i went to turn it on and got the dreaded red/green blink and it had 12 on the screen with the customer service notes.

    wasnt so easy with google since you have "code" in the search. got a lot of pages for game codes. but anyways, found what i was looking for. here is what each error code means:

    HARD DRIVE PROBLEMS
    07-Kernel = Hard drive timeout
    08-Kernel = Can't locate hard drive
    09-Kernel = HDD parameters

    DVD DRIVE PROBLEMS
    10-Kernel = DVD timeout
    11-Kernel = DVD not found
    12-Kernel = DVD parameters
