    Ok, Here's the deal...

I recently attempted to back up The Dark Knight using Anydvd + DvdShrink with Nero. I have run into this problem before using those two and stopped doing it that way but for this title it was the only way I could get it to work, or so I thought. The process completed without any errors, but when I try to play it (in a xbox360) it does not play. Like I said, it has happened before but I just used other methods ( DvdFab or CloneDvd) which I could not get to work in this case.

Has anyone run into this before? The burner is working because I have backed up a couple different titles using different progs but for some reason Nero with DvdShrink does not burn anything playable.

Hi, I've been told that dvd shrink and Nero 8 and 9 are inconpatible with each other. Seems that dvd shrink works correctly with Nero 6 and 7.

    Merry Christmas !

That might be the problem. Well, I finally got DvdFab to update and used it instead. Worked like a charm. So it is not too big of a deal anymore.. just wondered why it would say there were no errors and yet not be playable.

You can still use AnyDVD+DVD Shrink, you just have to save the compilation first to HDD and then burn it to disc(with Nero, ImgBurn...). I always do that, as I want to make sure the decrypting/transcoding went well, before wasting a disc.
