    Hi
new here and just have one issue so i didnt bother searching first :p

i have 3 avi files. i was able to use virtualdubmod to join the 2nd and 3rd files into 1, but when trying to join the 1st file it gives me a
"the audio streams have different sample sizes (0 vs. 480)"

i thought the virtualdubMod was created to fix this issue??? when it asks me if i want to rewrite header i clicked No as indicated in the guide.

    Please help!

i went back and noticed this:

1st avi file has bitrate of 166
    2nd and 3rd has bitrate of 160
so thats why i was able to join the 2nd and 3rd. so i guess my question is how can i change 1st avi to 160 too, or is there a better solution now that i have 2nd and 3rd joined already. thanks so much!

Perhaps avi 1 uses vbr audio and the others are CBR ?

For avi 1, open it in vdubmod and select streams/list/save wave.

Covert this wave to CBR 160 mp3 using the tool of your choice.

Back in vdubmod/streams/list - disable the vbr audio.
    Video/direct stream copy/
    file/save avi.

Open this new avi (with out audio) and select again streams/list/add
give it your new 160 mp3.
    video/direct stream copy File/save avi.
