Hi This is a simple question from a noob. But will Eurovox's ect work without a cable subscription? I have a active virgin account, however if i was to close it could i disconnect the account and still use the box? Thanks
I don't mean to doubt you (especially with the Celtic sphere )but I thought I had heard otherwise. That they just switch off the box and the signal still goes through the line - like water through a tap. Any other opinions?
But wont my water supply be there until they remove the pipe? As in doesn't it stay connected unless they have to give it to someone else?
when they switch off the BOX this means there is no signal going to the box therefore no signal no Free TV..... you have to subscribe to at least the basic package!!!!!!!!
Look if you are doubting what noely has said then go ahead and try it, you may very well get reception, they may leave the pipe live, but it is all if's and but's. Are you using cable broadband, if so then you will be Okay, but a basic sub. package of one kind or another is the only way to be certain.
Well you are very fortunate - good on you, and long may it continue, as said it may be cut off - it may not, what broadband do you use?
Need help guys, I have sussed out how to get the eurovox working and all is fine. I have virgin broadband in my bedroom but is it possible to use the broadband cable to view channels on the eurobox? If so how do I do this? All assistance greatly appreciated. Regarding the previous enquiry Virgin's a basic 3 for £30 deal is pretty good and you get 100mb internet connection. Virgin allow you to keep their box to watch the freeview channels even if you don't subscribe to any other services, or were to cancel phone and internet. This therefore means there is a signal still coming into the box.
Scouser, cheers for the reply. I have a two way splitter and a three way splitter which I scranned off the virgin guy when he was fitting the cable a while back. Will these do the business?
