I have a whole bunch of TV Episodes of Doctor Who, and they're in DIVX format and some of them are a lot louder than some others. I was wondering if there was a easy program to normalize the sound to the same level on all my files.

I know there's a program called MP3 Gain to normalize mp3s, I was wondering if there was a program that is easy to use as MP3 Gain to to the same idea on DIVX files. I really don't want to start converting files to fix sound then re-convert them back because I have over 100 episodes and this will take forever.

    Hopefully someone can help me!

    Thanks Ying

mp3 I believe is the audio format for .divx files. Since they are basically still avi's you should be able to batch demux the audio, run mp3gain and then remux. Not sure about tools for batch muxing .divx files or for demuxing/remuxing chapters, xsubs, etc.
