norton says your trying to intrude on your computer. check msconfig/startup to see if anything there you don't recognize

Hursty, when you installed your torrent software did you get a "(torrent.exe or whatever) is trying to access the internet" warning from Norton when you tried to connect to a tracker for the 1st time? i did with Azuerus.
Just clicked the drop down box in the warning to 'manually configure internet access' to give azuerus full, unrestricted access to the net.

Hmm.. weird. must be something to do with norton then. have you had this problem since you updated it?. by your screenshots it looks like you are using Internet Security 2005. ive got last years Norton on my desktop, & it doesnt seem as 'strict' as the new version that ive got on my laptop.. maybe an uninstall/re-install of norton, then azeurus would help? could be worth a try..
