thanks for the links,could youadvise me on what to download,i have just installed bullguard internet security and anti virus and have also got spybot,ccleaner and windows reg is there anything else i need to help me be more secure and safe

I use anti spyware software, anti virus software and since I have WinXP I use XP firewall. If you have linux or Win95 or other versions get a firewall protection as well.

Firewall exist but I cannot recommend one cause I don't use

Though I use avast.com free software (antivirus)
NoAdware against adware spyware.
