I'm haveing an issue with burning dvd's that is new with no obvious reason. When I burn a dvd it plays fine in any dvd player.Up until now I could view the files that were on that dvd with no problems reading them, now those files can't be read on the computer that created them in the first place, but they can be read on another computer.... Any thoughts?

Are you saying that the burner seems to work ok, yet you cannot read the files on the burned disk.

    If so:
My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager.
    Expand 'IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers'
Right click on Secondary IDE Channel and 'Uninstall' (note this assumes that the burner is on the Secondary).
Reboot and the drivers will be reinstalled.
    Check the disk.

Thanks for the input, however I've tried that. I have 2 dvd burners, both are liteon 16 speedburners. I've updated the firmware and reinstalled the drivers several times. both units do the same thing. I find it difficult to believe that both units are going at the same time. Both units will burn a dvd movie through nerovision. The movies will play on any dvd player and also play on another computer. The units do read all other types of files on other disks, just not the dvd ones.....
