I'm trying to burn a video on Nerovision 4.7.0.16 (on Windows Vista). Usually I just put in the .avi file, make the menu, let it encode, burn and everything works. Ive come across two video files that seem that have some issues though. The videos are ~700mb (~2 hours) and according to nero, it should fit with good or greater quality. The encode proceeds with no problem but it doesn't burn and says my DVD doesn't have enough space (I've put in 3 new dvds, DVD-R and DVD+R of 2 different brands). Any ideas? I'll try another video right now and report back (with the exact error message if it doesn't work).
The two previous ones did not work, they did not even start burning (at least I didnt lose my disc) The one I said I'm trying now is still encoding...it takes about 1-2 hours which I assume is normal.
keep your nero log file and post here... 2 hours seems ok could try burning as nero image file to hard drive check size, then burn image file. did you set output size in nero or use default? i set at 4300meg if everything has been good, it may just be these 2 avi files? could try jioning them with avimux gui first, nero may even jion them? no cant do that you mentioned a menu, sorry.
The two videos are separate, I do one at a time. I use the default (automatic), pretty much let Nero decide how space to use. I don't use a menu for single videos most of the time. The video I just tried worked, so it must be just those two.
