Ive read the tutorials and everything but my Xbox and PC arnt connecting. i plug the cable in the computer and xbox yet there is no network and it says LAN cable unplugged.

Also the led on my ethernet card isnt flashing, so it indicates it isnt connected, and again in settings on my xbox it says No Link!

    Any help will be appreciated

Check the device manager on your PC.. sounds like the drivers for your NIC aren't installed.

Im pretty sure it is because im networked right now.

im using my lan cable, which may not be Crossover - would this be why they are not connecting together at all?

Well you were right. I bought a 3m Crossover cable for $5.50AUD and it works perfectly. In about 7 hours of having it I managed to 'Back up' ;) about 5 games.

My crossover cable is yellow, all my others were blue.

    Thanks for all your help
