well i have 2pcs in my house in different rooms and they were both connected to the internet via a wired router. Now i have bought a laptop aswell and connected that to the router via etherport. problem is one of the pcs has gone into my other room and i cannot get a wire to go there. now i dont want to splash out on a wireless router so i was thinking my laptop has got built in wireless so could i connect to the internet via wired connection and ics wirelessly to the 2nd pc if i bought a usb wireless thing for it? Reading that through some of you might get confused i hope you understand why wot am trying to do. all pcs and laptop running xp
No no i mean have to 1 pc and laptop to connect to the internet via the wired router but then internet connection sharing the 3rd pc wid the laptop wirelessly
Are you trying to say that you wanna connect your laptop to the internet wirelessly through another computer? If so I don't think thats possible.
