I am Having trouble burning movies. I use Decrypter and Shrink. This is what is coming up on my screen.

    DeviceIOControl (FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed!
    Device: [0:0:0] PHILIPS DVD+-R DVD8631 (D:) (ATA)
Unable to lock volume for exclusive access
    Reason: Access is denied

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong or if it is just the disk I'm trying to burn.Thnx. It came up for both the movies Mr. and Mrs. Smith and European Gigolo

Is that the only 2 disk that error comes up on?

That error means some other program is using the drive.
You will need to find out what it is and close it.

With the apps you are asking about this would have been better asked in shrink forum.

But that can happen in nero as well so is ok here I would think.

Oh yeah to give you a clue what to look for. Many apps can cause that. A few are packet writing apps like incd, dla and those type apps. Also auto play on the drive could cause it if it is attempting to play the movie when it is inserted.
