I am not computer savy....and i found out that the program I have installed on my computer to burn cd's and dvd's was not accepting them because they were "locked"..so a friend told me about dvd shrink, then I downloaded the dvd decrypter...and NONE of this makes sense..I've read some of the threads and i'm still very lost. I have a movie that has been stored (i think) to my hard drive and now I'm trying to copy it to a dvd+r....w.t.f. How come this is suck a great thing and yet this is making me feel like a dumbass.

It often helps if you read some guides first. If you move your mouse pointer to the top of this page and click on the guides button, you will find an abundance of useful information. Alternatively you could try the link shown below - quite simple with a bit of homework.

Don't come down on yourself too hard. There is a learning curve and you have to take it.

Do as colw suggested and read a couple of guides for the process. I also have them posted in my signature block for convenience. If you follow bbmayo's directions in the guides you will be burning in no time.

    They worked for me.
