    Hello to everybody,
First of all sorry for gramar mistakes and stuff.

I started some weeks ago this thread because my DVD Burner was not working at all.
Well the thing is that after reading some stuff that other users write me I finally could make it work, or kinda.

I have a laptop that dosent burn DVD so I bought a:
    DigitalMax DRW-3S163 (DVDBurner)
    and a
    Bytecc ME-320U2 (External Enclosure USB2.0)

It reads perfectly but it dosen't burn that well.

In resume this is what happens:

I update the firmware as they told me in the other thread and update the drivers for the External Enclosure.
Try to burn with a bunch of programs I found and nothing worked except:
Install DVD Decrypter, set the option to "Test", makes 20 Write Retries, gives me the next error:
    http://img284.echo.cx/my.php?image=dvddecrypters6fh.gif
and a "Retry" Button (in Spanish of course) I click that and GUESS WHAT? Starts "burning a test copy". Then I did the SAME! but without testing and GUESS WHAT? It burn my DVD YEAH!!!!! Finally!

I'm not trying to be picky and stuff, but I will really like to burn DVD with another program like Nero (my favorite) or Easy CD Creator.

Any ideas why this is not working?

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Hunter

What problems are you having with Nero? Are you setting DVD Shrink to burn to Nero automatically after it is ripped. Are you using Nero Recode?

    Do this:

    1. Take back you external DVD burner and get a refund
    2. By a good internal DVD burner a good brand.
    3. Get on Ebay and buy a USB 2.0 to IEDE cable.

This is my set up. I have an internal drive connected to my laptop via the USB to IEDE cable. Works like a charm.
