nothing works "Wedding crashers"

anydvd and shrink..worked like magic`!

 

i used shrink and it got all the way to 90% abd then i got an error message, the same with dvd decrypter. people say they are using shrink alone and it works fine but i'm having problems. is there a difference between the unrated version and the rated version. people on this site know whats going on help me out one time.

 

There are alot of different ways to go about doing it, but one that has worked for me three times on three different computers, without error, is having any dvd running in the back ground (newest version Jan.1/06) or later and using dvd shrink or clone dvd 2. No problems, no dragging, pefect chapters and titles. I am region 1 if that makes any difference.

 

I used clonedvd2 and backed up the entire movie watched it all the way threw without a glitch..

i didnt re author or anything just shrink and nero. and it played fine all they way thru i dont know whats up with yalls chapter 10

 

I had issues in chapter 4 and up, but I think I got it right now using ANYDVD with decrypter and shrink. In VOB blanker chapter 4 is where unreferenced cells were as well as chapter 10 and others along the way. Kick a$$/FUNNY movie though and I will enjoy watching it again to test it.

 

wedding crashers is giving me A LOT of problems ... first off if you shrink it and just burn whats under the main movie you are not burning the movie ... the main movie is under another section that dvd shrink can not isolate by reauthoring ...

next a tried to burn the whole thing but it kept getting locked up during section 2 and 10 ...

next i said forget about dvd shrink and tried to burn just the movie files (VTS_02_01 ...VTS_02_02 ... VTS_02_03 all the way up to VTS_02_06) now these were not yet shrunk so Nero told me it would automatically reduce video quality to fit it on the disk ...

that was over 2 hours ago and Nero is still going ... all the other movies i burned took 30-40min now this is still going over 2 hours later ... im going to be pissed if this movie comes out all chopped up

 

I had a problem after using dvdfab decrypter and opening with shrink.
It would show 4 main titles wich none would be over 1 hour. i think it only added up to an hour. So i trashed it and re-riped with good old dvd decrypter and then used shrink. no problems thier. so the good only fashion combo worked for me. with no glitches ....... and nothing extra running in the back-ground.....

 

o and forgot to include the version i have - widescreen uncorked edition.

to bad you cant download it from this site anymore ...
well the timer is up to 2hr 30min .. it says its currently writing to the disc but the light on my DVD burner hasnt turned on yet ... pretty soon somone on this board might see my computer come flying through their window

 

well after 2 1/2 hours of this crap software doing whatevery it was doing the movie did not burn correctly ... what a load of crap this software is ... the absolute worst i have ever used

 

I just finished watching the entire movie and it was flawless.

If you do movie only, use title 1 which is widescreen. Only check 5.1 audio and you will have no problems.

I used AnyDVD in the background with Nero Recode2 which was created by the same person that created DVD Shrink.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result. So if you are having problems, then may I suggest you try this combination? It works!

By the way... It was great!

 

can you tell me how to use Nero Recode to compress it? .. i have never used that method before ... i was going to use Clone DVD but id rather use Nero so its less i have to download .. thanks for the help im ready to put my fist throught the monitor

 

I burned it fine this afternoon using DVD Shronk 3.2

 

works with dvd shrink by itself there is a problem with fab decrepter putting the main movie in the unreferced matrial folder

Is there anyway that recode 2 can be installed without the NERO bundle? I'm not a real fan of NERO with duplication due to errors on certain DVD players, that never occurred using ROXIO disc copier. ( HAD A LOT OF REBURNS... Know what I mean?) They worked fine on my players just not for some friend$ I love the recode 2 and that is the only reason I bought the NERO suite. If anyone can confirm that it can be installed without NERO, please lead me on the way.

 

Actually the majority of forum threads and opinions here on aD will say the reverse when it comes to comparing Nero with Roxio. Many have to go through special removal programs to clean their system from the Roxio drivers. Do some searching here on aD and maybe you to will convert to Nero 100%.

 

@scubabud -Thanks for the quick reply. I was really sold on the NERO app. when I purchased it and had a freshly formatted HD / installed OS when I used NERO, but I make movies consistently!! and had 3 different users return 5-20 each, it was a nightmare that I didn't have to go through so I went back to what was working for me and them. I did have one friend go out and purchase a new DVD player and that did work with NERO back up copies, but I wouldn't ask that everyone do that. Like I say they all worked great for me on 2 seperate players.

 

I guess getting just Recode out of the software suite isn't possible?
