Alright, I just ripped 4 games, burned all of them to high quality Sony CD-Rs, using breaker pro. I insert the backed up game. It starts up fine, I get to the title screen, input my name, start the game. Im playing castlevania symphony of the night, everything's going good then I realize, my buttons are on some sort of autofire... I press x once to jump, and the ps2 thinks im pressing x 2 times. I hold down x, I just keep jumping up and down. I think to myself, hey maybe its just a glitch. So I restart the ps2 reload the back up, still doing it. I try a new controller, same thing. I try a new Backed up game, im getting the same results. I try a normal black disced psx game that I used for the backup, perfectly fine. Nothing wrong at all. Could this be the cd image im using? Possibly something to do with the Breaker pro? I've been asking around in 3 forums for answers but no one has a clue. I just emailed the breaker pro sales manager about this. Nothing yet, if any of you have any advice it would be GREATLY appreciated. Im very upset about this, since my psx games are all stratched up. Thanks a bunch, Chris
I have been having this same problem as well... I have a v-14 slimline PSTwo, and I made copies of my PSX games using Sony CDRs (I used the "How to backup PSX/PS2 cdrom Games" guide from Tokijin's sig with Alcohol 120%). I can get the Game to load, but everytime I hold down a button, it acts as though I'm pressing it really fast. I've tried updating my cd burner driver (HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4241N) but any backup I create still has the same problem (but to a lesser extent). Is there anything else I can do to hopefully fix this? EDIT: Tried creating an image and burning it from my father's CD burner (Better Quality Burner), and the same thing still happens...
