Hello, so you can't boot to the os at all? Because some people are having similar issues with vista and ntkrnlpa.exe due to their graphics drivers. Does it start to boot at all or does that message come up straight away as soon as your turn the pc on (after the motherboard checks an all obviously)?

If you can't get into your system at all I would personally try to run both the "fixboot" and "fixmbr" commands from the recovery console command prompt which you can get to by booting to the cd and choosing to repair windows and then choose recovery console (not a repair isntall). I say this but I actually don't know for sure if recovery console is even included with Vista or installable for use with Vista? Since i don't use vista. but you should try it anyway, boot to the cd and see if you can get into the recovery console, then at the prompt choose the installation you would like to affect (probably only one so choice whould be "1") the run "fixboot" and fixmbr" and try it again. Any luck?
