Hi, my ntl went down about 10 days ago and eurovox max V stopped working. the ntl box stopped working aswell so called the cavalry out (after a 90 minute session on hold...grrr)
and they changed my extra wide UPC box to the auld Pace box. That seemed to the trick for NTL, but my eurovox PVR (i changed it over the w/end) is not working.....its picking up channels, but 'no signal/bad signal' is flashing up and the screen is going blank....its totally unwatchable. Interestingly the quality % is up around 85/86, but then drops intermittently to 10-15%. This happens for all 13 frequencies.

I'm in Drumcondra. Anyone shed any light on this?

    Evening fontane,

I was helping somone with a similar problem the other night and had to get advice about this from a well respected member with a hell of allot of knowledge and he advised to try a booster with variable gain available from B&Q as the problems you are having seems to be down to a unbalanced signal, one other thing before buying one check all your F-plugs, I added a box to one of my bedrooms just yesterday and counldn't get any of the channels to work, when I looked at the signal strengh it was fluctuating from 20 to 80% and it was down to the screen on the wire not connecting properly.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

BTW this is the F Plug,
