ntl swords digital the box super

hello can anybody tell me if the digital receiver the box super . will work in my area swords i just bought one and its saying no signal i have ntl box at the moment digital i think it is have it 3 years if thats any help. if this box wont work what box will or can i do something to the box to make it work. i also have a dish on the roof of my house it was here when i bought it would that help

Try a channel scan at 258mhz.

 

so get the menu up on my remote control and scan for a channel . when i set up the box the first thing it said on screen was no signal. will this box work if i have ntl digital i live in swords co dublin ireland

hi, i can confirm that the box super works fine on ntl digital in swords, i installed one in applewood last friday.
you may already have a list of channels installed which are for the true cable in dublin, not the mmds type found in swords.
go to the menu and choose factory setting, enter the password of 4 zeros, and then ok to confirm.. this will wipe the channel list
go to the installation menu, choose provider NTL and then do an automatic scan, you should get over 100 channels, press exit when finished
now turn on the emu in the box by pressing menu, then 1570, go down to where it says EMU and turn it to ON
that should be it.

 

brillant my box is good now thanks do you know if i can get channels like ruk i have at the races but id like ruk aswell

hey! ive purchased the box super am in the limercik area and have an active chorus account am getting a no signal error when i start, so now ive tried resetting the factory setting like i read in another fourm its seems to have made things worse can anyone help ????
