NTSC game on Pal using swapmagic

    I have just purchased gods of war NTSC version, I have a slimline PS2 (pal) with the swap magic method. all my backup games work fine and it states that the swapmagic can support ntsc games, so I bought gods of war off ebay and tried it with the swap magic disc and it didn't work, it kept saying not a valid PS2 disc. So I tried a backup straight after and that worked fine. Changed to NTSC on the video mode in the swap magic settings, tried special boot but still nothing.

    Is there a special way to get original NTSC games to work with swap magic?
    I don't really want to send the games back so is there a way I can back it up with a pal fix?

    god of war is a DVD9 (dual layer bigger than 4.7gb) dvd disc which swap magic doesn't support. You'd have to rip it down to dvd5 (single layer 4.7gb) to get it to work with swap magic.
