I don't have my player hooked up yet. So how I can I tell if the dvd I am goping to copy from is NTSC or Pal? I can read it in my burner I suppose (although havent even turned it on yet). But where do I look to see it my source dvd is NTSC or Pal?
And living here in the United States, does that mean that my dvd player Pioneer DV-250 is definetly a NTSC player? Thanks anyone for the help.

For the dvds's read the fine print on the back to see the region info and whether or not they are pal or not. If you bought your dvd player in the US then it is definately NTSC capable, however that does not mean that it can not play pal, I bouth one in Texas and it displays both formats. (and all regoins with out macrovision with a modchip)
