I work in an European company and have to mix our American company's shots into ours. If the main idea is in the script for Avisynth I would even pay for that. Most probably TMPGenc could do the dirty work?

If you read through my AVSEdit guide (http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/avisynth_tutorial.cfm) you'll find basic instructions for recovering the 23.976 progressive content from NTSC video. You can only do this if the original source is film, because NTSC video is actual 29.97fps content, while films have to be telecined to get that framerate. If you want to speed it up to 25fps after that, it should be a simple matter of adding this line to your script: AssumeFPS(25) I can't help much with the audio, particularly since it depends on what format it is, but in general I think you can do it without using an audio editor by adding the audio to the video in your AviSynth script and then opening it in VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod and saving the audio separately. An editor like Goldwave may do a better job (it may keep the pitch as close to the original as possible) but I can't say for sure since I don't do these conversions myself, and I'm inclined to trust Minion's judgement on things like this. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]In the beginning the Universe was created. MPEG Enc from Main Concept will solve all your problems... Either it is PAL or NTSC , for audio LPCM, Layer 1, Layer2 or so on this software can do the work... Try it out...
It seems to me that NeroVision EXpress is your answer to convert NTSC TO PAL or PAL to NTSC. I've been doing this already for almost a month now with great success 'cause I have a lot of PAL video concert to convert and now it's a normal process to me. No problem too with video and sound too cause I'm joining all VOB's using NeroVision. And lately, I have to use VoBmerge to join all vobs into to one. The reason is to avoid Flicker gap on the join section. But, the key pointis to use a registered version of nero burning rom. It will not work if you don't have the video plug-ins. It's a long process but the result is great.
