I'm trying to make 2.35:1 movies from 1.85:1 ones. When i resize the picture to 720x576 it keeps coming out wrong, anyone doing cropping in videos, if you could tell me what measurements you use, to get 1.85:1 to 2.35:1 i would appreciate it Thanks.
What kind of files are you working with ? What is the original resolution? What is you're actually doing, and why are you cropping the files this way?
It seems standard sizes for dvds are PAL - 720x576 & NTSC 720x480..... If some can point out a site where the exact sizes of all kinds of pal & ntsc sizes are i would be very grateful. I'm using vob's, avi's & mpeg's. I'm working on a lot of movies right now so there isn't an exact resolution. I'm cropping to turn 1.85:1 movies into 2.35:1
