null modem cable or rs232 cable

    Hi im trying the fix on the digivox tut and it says rs232 cable but when finished i get failed to flash and am being to i should have used a null modem cable. Any help please...

    The rs232 looks the same as the rs232 null modem cable, but doesnt have talkback feature, so you can't flash with the ordinary rs232's you need the null modem.

    You will get one in maplins.

    It's called an RS232 Null modem cable, if it's just an RS232 it wont work.

    Read the eurovox flashing guide linked below for more info on cables.
