I burned a DVD from a TS file. I wanted to pause the movie or skip forward....the remote won't work. I can't stop it from playing either. I can stop the dvd from playing by pushing stop on the player but can't move forward. Any ideas? Is it something that I'm doing in the burning process?
    Thanks for your help

    Battery dead in the remote?
Seriously though, how did the file originate, download or some other program you used? I had this problem once when there was a bad file in the batch from a download, also once when I let it automatically recode something that was too close to the egde of the disc.
I don't have a webpage to point you to for this specific problem, just trial and error from turning my bands concert footage into DVD video.

It's a "movie" version of stills aka "slideshow"....about 250 photos with fades, dissolves, music....works fine in my dvd drive on my computer....(and yes, the remote's batteries are fine)....
It was a wmv file, converted using WINAVI, then burned with nerovision express 2. Also converted it once with dvd santa and have the same problem.....

If you made the .wmv file did you try using the rest of the windows movie maker program to burn the DVD you built? Sometimes its easier to use it to make the disc than run it through programs to use NERO.
Once its on a disc you can do anything with it.

No option on moviemaker to record to dvd..tried with cd (but using a dvd) and it didn't work. Aside from that, the movie is in three different files since moviemaker can only accept a limited number of video effects. when you burn the file and it has too many effects it just goes to black although the music continues. either way, i need to unite the 3 files somewhere and then burn...hence i'm using nero....
