I had my computer working fine with my graphics card for a long time, but I had computer troubles and formatted everything. After reinstalling everything,.. I can't get my graphics card to work. Ok here is what I have: Amd Athlon 1.24 ghz, 512 ram, Windows Xp Home, Asus Motherboard, Nvidia Verto Geforce FX its either 5200 or 5700.. can't remember, Envision LCD Monitor (which I also now can't get to install the drivers for). When I put the driver cd for the card in, it shows up blank.. like there is no cd in. Yes.. I have tried to download the latest drivers and when I put them in, all I see is a black screen. I can't figure out why it worked before and now it won't. Thanks for any help that anyone gives.
you are getting things displayed on the screen, correct?? instead of installing the software, do a driver update & point windows to look at the folder you downloaded or off the cd.
