    ok i was just wonderin. i wanna go on xbox live with my chipped xbox. but will i get fined even if i shut the chip off. cuz my friend got fined when he went online. and even if the chip is off can i mod the new maps on live without gettin in trouble

    first off your friend didnt get fined that is a lie,they will just ban your xbox or suspend you and if you turn your chip off then u will be ok....they cannot detect it if your chip is off...

    yoou kno what it is. he chipped his ps2 and went online i think.
