After reading your reply I decided to go from a intel Q9650 build to the i5 750. I know your guys know your stuff, could you give it a once over and leave advice? Looks fine to me. A little message I put for all i5 builds now is to make sure you use the white memory slots, not the blue ones. The components are all good stuff, and the Antec Three Hundred is plenty adequate for that lot. The i5 750 is an absolute doddle to overclock with the P55A-UD4P, as I have an almost identical board (the UD4) and it took all of two settings to get to 4.1Ghz.
Keep things in the same thread, makes it easier, because atm Im not sure if anything new has been said in the other thread. As for the build, I still dont see a point in a 500 and 300 GB drive. May as well just get a 1TB HDD. More storage and better performance. And make sure you win7 is 64 bit.
I strongly disagree. I swear by having multiple hard drives. It makes things so much easier when reformatting/reinstalling.
