I just easily backed up Obsessed all with freeware. I used the freeware of DVDFAB HD Decrypter to put it on the HD and then I used DVD Shrink to make it an ISO file. and i used DVD Decrypter to back it up on a DVD-5.

Glad you got it done, but out of curiosity why aren't you using Imgburn? Which very recently was updated. :)

    Maddog920 or anyone else,

What version of DVDFab HD Decrypter did you use? I have not been able to backup Obsessed; I keep getting a read/write error. Please tell me how I can backup this movie. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Latest version is 6.0.4.0.

Give that a shot, and post back if you have any issues. Check your disc for dirt or scratches.

DVDFab 6040 doesn't change anything. Still getting read/write error. "Error while reading. Please choose what to do." How can I decrypt this DVD (Obsessed)? Help!

    Try DVDFab5, you'll be surprised.

Try Ripit4me, when it asks if you want to rip the disc again because it was dirty, etc check no. Then when it asks if you want to clean the
    files anyway check yes.

Click on the little cog wheel and select Pathplayer from the menu. I believe it to be defaulted to enable when necessary. Change that to Always Enabled. It may take a little longer to analyze the disc, but see if that doesn't help.

I have the same problem with dvdfab the latest version and tried ripit even anydvd and always have the error message around 28% of the movie, so I have also a Mac at home and did use mac the ripper and dvd2one to backup the movie...it did tough tile a little were the protection was but it was a matter of 4 seconds or so, this one was a hard one.
