Quick story. Rented Ocean's Thirteen Widescreen Ed (regular DVD) from Blockbuster. The video quality of the movie is completely awful. I've got top of the line HD gear, and I haven't seen a new (regular) DVD play back this bad...ever. Anyone else out there? Is the retail (non-rental) DVD version potentially higher quality? It almost looks like the video quality was purposefully ruined...to get everyone to buy/rent HD version or not rent or something??? Just some thoughts; wondered if anyone had similar experiences. TIA for any feedback. Maybe I just have a bum disc...
