The DMIs needed patching on both discs of the Allstars release. I've literally just autofixed both ISOs.
That's the only reason I wanted it. And I ran out of disks and don't even have the second disk yet. FML.
The ALLSTAR version is PAL but region free - Will it work on a NTSC system? Can anyone confirm this? Thanks
Bungee totally ripping their fans off. This is the equivalent to a band releasing an EP in between albums, just to keep fans interested and to make a little money. The only difference is Bungee is greedy and is just releasing the same game that we have been playing all along. I highly doubt they spent a whole lot of time or money on the game, since they have over 120 developers working on Halo:Reach alone. Now that one will be worth checking out. This game really should have been DLC and not a full game.
Not being mean, do you know that region free means? It means that it will work on any console, so yes, it will work on NTSC. What the PAL is, is just the the region free disc came from a PAL country. But the disc is still region free so it will play.
Eh crap, and here I jumped the gun and already have burned a copy of ODST before it was verified, verb wasted *tear* Gotta use my last one to burn it again now >.< Lesson learned.
Really, the allstars release is fine. It passes all the stealth checks making it safe for xbox live. Additionally, allstars is a pretty good release group. But if you want the comfort of verification, then yup, burn it again.
