I remeber someone here said they worked at Copy Max. Is Copy Max part of Office Max or is it a seperate business thats located at Office Max. I am thinking of applying for a job there soon and I am wondering what the job qualification requirements.

Copy Max is Office Max or Vice Versa, it's all one...sorta

Copy Max is its own department, they run docutechs, 2045, oversize b/w and bindery work, Office Max sells office supplies and equipment and so on.

But to apply for Copymax do they have their own application or do you just get one from Office Max?

i live a half hour or more away from everywhere. i'd burn up any more money in gas, car maintenence, and taxes. however, i live just six minutes from a local college. exercise and a tan are making up for the cheap pay, i suppose.

however, there is a local Queens i'm going to apply to...i could get 6.50 out of them, i think.

the thing is (lol) i don't really like people and don't think i'd be able to stand whoring myself out as a salesperson. i don't have any degrees, certificates, or connections to get myself anything beyond flipping burgers (at 5.15 an hour), so the groundskeeper job is still decent.

i would be glaad to get a salesman job at some tech place. i would always be talking about stuff i like to talk about and its way more interesting than just sitting there as an attendant at a laundromat, brooming floors, cleaning washers & dryers, and getting jammed quarters out of machines.

if pay was equal, i'd rather work at the laundromat. humble as it may seem, it would be a more quiet and fulfilling job.

that's what lots of people say about lots of jobs...hell, that's what i say about my job most of the time. but i'm still happy that i've stuck with it. when you're out alone, up on a tractor, watching the clouds roll over head, seeing the beautiful blue of the sky, the grass waving in the breeeze, hearing children laughing in the background and feeling life for what it is, your thoughts are never clearer and the world is never more perfect.

and i'd probably get the same feelings fixing washing machines and watching people go on about their everyday business. the weird kid from American Beauty was right...there is so much beauty in the world, a person can barely stand it.

wooahh! minimum wage in OREGON, yes OREGON is 7.25. Kansas is 2.65 an hour. 6 states dont have any minimum wage. Ohio has all these weird conditions, like the more income for owner the more the pay, it's 2.8, that's the lowest after kansas.

What a beautiful picture you paint Auslander!
Reminds me of how I feel in the springtime when the windows are open and I'm sitting at my computer with a window behind my monitor. I watch the butterflies flit around the wildflowers and just drink in the sweet smelling fresh breeze. Makes me close my eyes for a moment and think that life just doesn't get any better than this.
