Office Max Media...is Verbatim

    Older packs of 16x OfficeMax media were often genuine MCC media. No surprises there. Newer packs are more likely to be CMC MAG M01.

    good find man! I bought some office Depot's Ativa DVD+R, and damn they suck. topic coming with pictures on how it almost caught my drive on fire!

    @Negritude,
    anyway to differentiate the Verbatim made Office Max disks from the CMC-MAG disks? Any tell tale clues on the outer packaging I should look for?

    well, i don't know if it's old or new, but the packaging looked new to me. too bad i threw away the paper wrapping on the spindle, but so far so good on that media, just like verbatim is:)
