@yujenh im sure docTY wouldnt mind at all, but would commend the idea behind the closure of the old and opening of a new TY thread.
@playr yes you should buy those mij sony's. its extremely hard to find them anywhere. every one is moving to the 16x mit's (which are garbage). i've found some sony 8x and 16x mij in 50 pk cakeboxes but the 100's are impossible to find.
Well I think Houston is out of MIJ TY Sony's. At least I can't find any so SMS for inkjet printable ty's are the way for me.
@ Yujenh Not sure this will help but I have some 1655s the only difference is LS I believe and mine love the vulue line- To be honest I cannot remember the last coster...as for the VL ive burn at least 800 just on the VL.
I don't normally do this but I completely agree with cincyrob. I would believe that docTY would be very happy to start another thread for the sake of speed and ease of use. There is so much good info in the older/other thread but very difficult to find and utilize because of the "sheer size" as creaky has mentioned. I think this is a GOOD move for simplicities sake and to leave the OLD thread in memoriam/remembrance of a GREAT member. On a lighter note. My TYG02's won't be here until Monday or Tuesday, DANG UPS. ....gm

@herrick I have some of them also. I have a two set 78 record and picture book of "Little Black Sambo" and "Peter and The Wolf". I'm sure collector's items. And I still have the means to play them.

anyone shopped at runtechmedia.com before? they have some pretty good prices and some of there stuff has free shipping. valueline 8x silver laquer's which are .26/disc, but don't have free shipping (doh!)and the shipping comes to a little over $11. but their hub printable 8x are onle .34/disc with free shipping
@ Yujenh Its a hit and miss...and I have missed the last 3 times- to put it in prospective on what I have gotten at least... i have only Gotten the TYGO3 about 4 times sence they have come out- Sooooo what I have seen the odds have not been in my favor, but makes for a great surprise though. @ garmoon Man the LOL is on me... Cool- I wonder the worth? could get a whole bunch of Tys [ tryen to keep it on topic] @ Sickley Ya the beta [sony] was alot better... but the VHS could do more [for one thing 3 movies which looked like crap BUT] and the porn industry dicated that move as it it will probably w/ the blue ray and HD war...we'll see
