    @ripper

    read above edit. didn't get my money. I'm using some crappy Maxell CMC mags now for stocking stuffer movies for others and to be honest they are burning 3 at a time with no coasters. I don't know what they play like tho. LOL

    Ah right, didn't see edit LOL

    And oh well, if you're not getting any coasters, then just go on holiday 6 months down the line when they stop playing ;-)

    LOL

    I really don't care. The ones I keep are on TY T02s!!LOL

    Maybe that's the "out" for breaking the law by copying discs. If you use CMC Mags, then when you get caught, you make sure the trial is 6 mo post burn and there will be no evidence that you really ever copied said movie!!! LMAO

    LOL. Yeah, it's like a failsafe for getting caught by the RIAA or MAFIAA or whatever. lol!! I think this would stand up in court quite well.

    "Well, don't worry, they won't even play in 2 months!"

    :)

    English Dolby AC-3/6. You can check the AC-3/2 also but the main movie will be on the AC-3/6 stream. It will be downmuxed to 2 channel stereo if you don't have a 5-7 channel entertainment system.

    Nope, go for the 6 channel one buddy,
    Remember, 6 pack good, 2 pack bad.
    6 channel good, 2 channel bad.
    6 channel French, definitely no good.

    Could anyone please let me know of any good canadian sites or stores to buy some Taiyo media from, seeing as shipping from anywhere else would cost as much as the media itself?
    And which of the Taiyo media is the best?
    Thank you!

    If you can find 8X +R Sonys with a white octagonal spacer on top of spindle and Made in Japan on the label then they're TY T02s. They may all be gone from your stores by now but look closely. The 16X are NOT TYs, and the made in Taiwan(any speed)are NOT either.

    I have been to 7+ stores in the past day and every disc on the shelf is made in Taiwan, its hard enough finding anything that is 8x, everything I see is 16x.
    Thanks for the suggestion!

    I just went to the Real Canadian Superstore, the last place I would expect to buy DVD's and I picked up some Fujifilm 8x DVD-R that are TYG02.
    I'm glad I found a store near me and dont have to order off the net.

    yujenh,
    Just went to OfficeMax and the add shows a misprint on the DVD-R's. They are $12.99 just like the DVD+R's. The CD-R's are the ones on sale for $7.99.

    Just FYI on the $7.99 sale. :(

    .........c

    btw I bought another 100 discs, my wife is gonna kill me. MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Can't wait to try these and see about the MCC 004's.

    ChrisC586,
    My bad on the internet purchase. I went in-store and all the sale signs indicated that the CD-R's were $7.99 and the DVD+-R Media was $12.99. I went back to the internet and added the DVD-R's to my cart and if I bought more than $50 worth of discs shipping was free but with tax included. A really good deal on media as long as it's good stuff. What do they code out as? Thinking about taking the 50 pack back and seeing if they will match an internet price if I take them the internet flyer. Thanks for pointing that out to me. ;P

    ...........c

    edit: FOUND IT==Verbatim DVD-R 16X (MCC03RG20)
